OOD helps students with disabilities successfully transition from school to work. Transition teams work together to develop activities and experiences designed to provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to reach their post-secondary goals.
OOD’s goal for successful transition includes planning for, finding and keeping a job prior to exit from high school.
After employment counselors conduct follow-up activities to make sure employment is sustainable.
