OOD Jobs for Recovery

Jobs For Recovery Model
OOD helps individuals with disabilities, including substance use disorders, find employment. OOD Jobs for Recovery places a vocational rehabilitation counselor (VRC) as an active member of a drug court interdisciplinary team. Employment is an important part of recovery and rapid engagement is a key component to an individual's success. The Jobs for Recovery model is:
• One VRC dedicated to a caseload of individuals involved with the participating drug court docket(s).
• Rapid access to job placement services is offered through internal job developers or community providers.
• OOD staff will attend court proceedings so that full collaboration can be achieved, and support is
provided to the individual.
