Deaf Students - Free ACT Test Prep Course 2023

 

ACT Test Prep

Are you a Deaf, hard of hearing, or deaf-blind high school student?
Are you interested in college?
Do you want help to prepare for the ACT and other college entrance tests?

Register by January 21, 2023 to join ACT / College Entrance Test preparation class!

All teachers are experienced in teaching Deaf, hard of hearing, and Deaf-blind students.
All classes will have American Sign Language (ASL), spoken English, and captioning.

Why should I prepare for the ACT and other college entrance exams?
Better scores can mean getting into the college of your choice, more scholarships, more financial aid!

WHEN: February 17 – 19, 2023
WHERE: Ohio School for the Deaf, Columbus, OH
COST: $0 Tuition, dorm, food, and fun. 
It’s all free! (All instructional, food, and overnight costs paid for by NTID and OSD)

With optional prep sessions online:
February 4 – Math
February 11 - Science
February 25 - English Language Arts

I am interested! What do I do?

Due by January 21: 
1.    Student application
2.    Parent Information  form
3.    Teacher recommendation

Then what happens?
1.    A teacher will interview you.
2.    If you are selected, you will attend a virtual orientation before class starts.
