Jobs For Recovery Model

A full-time dedicated team of OOD staff will be immersed (headquartered) at the court or treatment team partner for the specialized docket. OOD staff assigned to the caseload will attend treatment team meetings and court proceedings for the specialty courts. The team may consist of:

* A VRC to serve a caseload that is 100% dedicated to individuals involved with the certified specialized dockets in identified counties.

* A Caseload Assistant to facilitate rapid engagement in vocational rehabilitation services for individuals referred.

* A Job Developer to provide immediate access to resume development, interview preparation, and job placement assistance when the individual is ready for employment.

Types of Services

Vocational Rehabilitation staff help individuals explore their strengths, abilities, and interests to help promote informed choice in selecting the job goal and services provided. Service delivery is individualized and person-centered.

Services may include:

  • Career exploration and guidance
  • Resume and interview preparation&
  • Job development and placement
  • On-the-job-supports
  • Work incentives planning
  • Assistance with additional employment barriers

OOD Jobs for Recovery staff will assist in the coordination of comprehensive wrap around recovery support, prior to case closure.
