Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities is pleased to present The Employers’ ADA Handbook, a free five-part series to help employers navigate Title I of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). 

In Session 4 of the series, Resources and Funding, learn about different resources available to address reasonable accommodations in the workplace, as well as potential funding sources for reasonable accommodations that require them.

The Employers’ ADA Handbook – Resources and Funding

Learn about resources and funding available to support employers in providing work environments that are accessible and inclusive for employees with disabilities. Questions and answers are facilitated throughout the presentation. Specific topics to be discussed will include:
•             External entities available for consult on reasonable accommodation and disability employment matters at no cost
•             Tax benefits available to employers who hire individuals with disabilities and make the work environment accessible
•             Lending libraries which permit employers to borrow reasonable accommodation items to try in the workplace
